Europäisches INDUSTRIANA-Label für Industriekultur

The aim of project ‚Genius Loci‘, co-financed by the European Commission under the COSME programme, was to promote the industrial heritage of SMEs. During this project, a unique industrial heritage label with QR code was developed, Industriana. It can be applied to the façade of industrial sites, traditional businesses, museums, etc. Using their smartphone, passers-by can then scan the QR code and retrieve up to 5 pages of information. This is possible – for each page – in several languages.
After Genius Loci ended, EFAITH took over the management of Industriana and expanded the possibilities. During COVID, development was briefly halted, but recently a whole series of sites in various countries have been added.
In the meantime, a number of sites have submitted their candidacy and will be evaluated by the Industriana jury in the course of the next few weeks.
