The Sixth International Symposium and Exhibition on the Redevelopment of Manufactured Gas Plant Sites (MGP 2015), will convene on 8-10, November, 2015 in Ghent, Belgium. The First Symposium was developed back in 1995 by Florida State University through a grant by the US Technology for International Environmental Solutions Initiative (US TIES). The Symposium is now organized and operated by the International Society of Technical & Environmental Professionals (INSTEP) in cooperation with OVAM (Public Waste Agency of Flanders), Florida State University and Environmental Industry & Conference Management (EICM).

The Symposium is an on-going educational and networking event that focuses on specific issues related to the remediation and redevelopment of manufactured gas plant sites. The building blocks of this year’s Symposium will relate to the themes selected in the International Soil Year 2015: Economy, Innovation, Health and Environment.
